Arrival in Antananarivo
Airport welcome, then transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at the Sun City hotel or similar.
Antananarivo - Andasibe
Departure for Andasibe after breakfast. Along the way, we stop to visit the Peyrieras Reserve: geckos, butterflies, crocodiles, reptiles and chameleons - the visit lasts about an hour. Lunch, then we continue on to Andasibe. On arrival, check in at the hotel, and in the afternoon we visit the private Vakona Reserve, "Lemur Island", where the lemurs are easy to approach. Dinner and overnight at the Feon'ny Ala hotel or similar.
Visit to Andasibe National Park
The morning is dedicated to exploring Andasibe National Park, home to numerous forest species, most notably the Indri-Indri, the largest lemur on the island. After the visit we return to our hotel for lunch. The afternoon is free. Dinner and overnight at the same hotel.
Andasibe - Manambato - Ankanin'ny nofy
Departure for Manambato, then a boat transfer across Lake Rasoabe towards Ankanin'ny Nofy ("nest of dreams"). Dinner and overnight at the Palm Beach hotel or similar.
Visit to the Palmarium Reserve
In the morning, visit the Palmarium Reserve, home to a wealth of endemic terrestrial and arboreal flora and fauna: lemurs, orchids, carnivorous plants, mahogany, ebony and palm trees, all endemic to Madagascar. The afternoon is free. In the evening, we take a night walk to see the famous "Aye-aye" lemur. Dinner and overnight at the same hotel.
Palmarium - Antananarivo
Boat departure for Manambato after breakfast, then on the road to Tana. Dinner and overnight at the Sun City hotel or similar.
Antananarivo - France
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Paris. End of services.
Bungalows facing primary forest, with a 5am wake-up call courtesy of the indri lemurs: Very decent, quiet rooms. Pleasant restaurant with excellent food. A well laid-out property in a very appealing setting, in the middle of the forest, near a body of water. It's a pleasure to daydream on the restaurant's small terrace. Very warm welcome. Clean. Palm Beach sits in a unique and protected setting. The hotel comprises 4 individual bungalows with spacious rooms and a bathroom (don't be afraid of insects, here they're right at home!!) built in typical Malagasy style with wood and a palm-thatched roof.
